Why no video camera? Pls enlighten your thread as many of ppl will defiantly be carrying a camera
That rule is normal for this kind of event with stageshow. No video taking is allowed because if someone take the video of stageshow and sell it for commercial use, we will be having problems with singers, composers, authorities in Myanmar as well as in Singapore. They will only come to organizers. Furthermore, we have professionals taking videos which may be used for commercial distribution and we got to take licence for that.
But, if you really, really want to take a few short clips for your friend or a song or a dance, you can talk to us. It's ok. But, if you are taking almost continuously, the security will keep the camera. And, pls take note, it is WATER FESTIVAL.

How is the stage look like? it is like we can splsh water near the stage like in myanmar?
Ok, it's a bit difficult to explain here. It is Yes and No. The easiest way to explain is it is similar as Mya Yeik Nyo Thingyan. We make it as similar as Myanmar so that the feeling will be the same. You can splash water anywhere except at the stage and sound system. So, you can splash water near the stage. But, currently, the water tanks are not around the stage area. Pls see the layout at the post somewhere below. Beside the Stage(not in front), we will have a tent for about 200 seats. The water points and tanks will be near the food stalls area and somewhere middle of the stage area and the trees & tennis court at the left.
However, there may be changes in the layout plan. It may not at the field anymore. It may move to the carpark which around the trees area and in between the buildings. If we move to these area the water points will not be as far as before. It will most probably just around the watching and dancing area. We may even put up a water splashing stage near there.
But, it is not confirmed yet. we are checking with the sound system and stage building conditions. If these can b solved, We will confirm it and put it here in next 1, 2 days together with the layout plan. So, u can come back and chk in a few days time.
