We try as close as possible. While watching the performance of thingyan dances, cheers and stageshow of famous Myanmar singers, you can splash water each other happily and have different myanmar foods for 2 whole days. Water will be provided WHOLE DAY. Performances and StageShow will also be Whole Day. We may even give away some water guns for early birds.
MediaCorp from Singapore, Today, ESPN, MTV and a few other media will be coming to take news of how we celebrate our Myanmar New Year in Singapore.
So, among the foreigners, lets show together how we celebrate our Thingyan. It is real Myanmar Thingyan and it's never been in Singapore or outside Myanmar before. So...

Did alot of people buying ticket for the show on 29 april 2007 ?
We will open the gate at 10am. The real program will start around 10:30 to 10:45. You can come anytime after 10am. But you will miss the performances.
And, yes ppl are started buying and tickets are selling fast since 2nd wk of April. It's not only 29th but also 28th.
What do you mean by give away some water guns to early birds ?
There may be water guns to be give away FREE. But, this is NOT confirm yet. If so, there will be limited and only those come early will get it.

We must show we celebrate our Thingyan together but in proper manner especially people who drink and drunk end-up it will be effecting to whole nation. Don’t forget, it was noticed that the discipline issues were brought up other nation during similar event held in Singapore. People should aware what Burmese are lacking …..DISCIPLINE…..
That's correct.
Nobody can drink and drunk within the compound. We have our licenced security officers and police to take care of it.
